SD Global Vietnam inaugurates $19 million project

SD Global Vietnam inaugurated a factory for producing and checking protection glasses and lens for mobile phones on January 16 at the expanded Dai An Industrial Park.

The industrial park is located in the northern province of Hai Duong's Cam Giang District, the Dau Tu (Investment) newspaper reported.

The US$19 million-project is fully funded by foreign investors from South Korean company Tyukil CNS.

The factory is designed to produce 6 million protection glasses and 6 million camera lens for mobile phones. It will also inspect 12,000 protection glasses and 6,000 other lens each year.

The project has reportedly become operational a month earlier than initially planned.
