Engineering Career Path with GE

Nearly 200 students of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) yesterday participated in the seminar “Engineering Career Path with GE” to exchange, share experience and orientate their future jobs with high-level officials from General Electric (GE) in Vietnam.

This event was one of the initial activities in collaboration between GE and HUST to enhance training opportunities and develop highly qualified human resources in the fields of science and technology, which was the next step after Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between two sides in September 2014.

Under the collaboration’s framework, GE and HUST committed to strengthen student education programmes and postgraduate job opportunities via structured internship programmes in GE businesses, practical training courses and guidance on final assignments, and GE leadership programmes in the fields of medical equipment technology, nuclear engineering, aviation, and power generation.
