Thai Vietjet makes its debut

Thai Vietjet Air, a branch of the Vietnamese low-cost carrier Vietjet Air, made its debut in Bangkok, Thailand on December 20 with the participation of senior leaders of the two countries.

On this occasion, the airline obtained an air operator's certificate from the Thai Civil Aviation Department.

At the event, leaders of both sides acknowledged the launching of the airline as a result of the cooperation and sustainable trade development between Vietnam and Thailand.

Nguyen Thanh Hung, Chairman of ThaiVietjet said that the airline wishes to create more opportunity for Thai passengers to experience its flights with low airfare.

He believed that ThaiVietjet will be the best choice of millions of passengers in the coming time with its new fleets, professional pilots, and experienced flight attendants.

The launch of the airline is also the very first step of its strategy to conquer international markets, he added.

The carrier plans to operate a series of domestic and international flights from Thailand to other destinations in the area and expand more flights from Vietnam that are being operated by Vietjet Air.
