Reed Tradex eyes support growth

Reed Tradex aims to support Vietnam becoming a global electronics hub with NEPCON Vietnam.

With escalating demands to upgrade production capability and efficiency in order to maximise the mounting business opportunities in the electronics industry, manufacturers in the support sector are looking for new technologies, know-how, and connections that would enable them to widen their market as well as expand their business in preparation for the ASEAN Economic Community that would take effect in the near future.

The Vietnamese government has been stimulating industrial development which has seen great progress throughout the years. Many global producers and technology providers now regard the country as one of the most promising hubs, and there is still immense room for growth and for interested players to join.

Duangdej Yuaikwarmdee, deputy managing director and general manager Vietnam of Reed Tradex Co., Ltd., recently expressed his opinion about the positive changes seen in the electronics manufacturing industry in Vietnam as well as the company’s plans to help support this growth.

“At the moment, Vietnam is no doubt one of the fastest growing production bases for supporting industries especially in terms of electronics,” Yuaikwarmdee said, “Due to the government’s heavy subsidy and encouraging policies to attract foreign direct investment, we can see that many global names such as LG, Panasonic, Samsung and others have now made the northern region of Vietnam their production base which reflects that the government has achieved its objectives and has moved in the right direction.”

Reed Tradex as the region’s leading trade exhibition organiser is keen to provide the framework to encourage this trend. The organiser would like to invite leading technology providers as well as professionals in the supporting and electronics manufacturing industries to come together and join in bringing the latest and most suitable technologies to the manufacturers in Hanoi, so they will be able to experience the new techniques and find out how they can improve their efficiency further. This would propel an increase in productivity and product quality, which will result in greater achievements for Vietnam’s industrial capability on a global level.

NEPCON Vietnam 2015 will provide a platform for everyone, from government agencies to private organisations concerning industrial and electronics parts manufacturing. Reed Tradex aims this event to be a focal point for knowledge and solutions that technology providers, entrepreneurs, and industrialists at every level in the production line will come to exchange their ideas and discuss how they could complement each other and drive the growth of Vietnam’s supporting industries together.

NEPCON Vietnam 2015 will deliver over 100 SMT and electronics manufacturing technology brands from 10 countries, attracting an anticipated 7,000 quality visitors to discover the innovations and attend the international seminars. The show will also offer networking opportunities through a series of activities and business matchmaking that enables face-to-face discussion.

“We would like to take this opportunity,” Yuaikwarmdee said, “to invite technology providers, manufacturing experts, as well as everyone interested in the growing opportunity of electronics manufacturing industry in Vietnam to come show their support and become the inspiration for Vietnam’s fast growing industry together. Through our collaboration, you could be the force that drives the growth of Vietnam’s electronics and supporting industries to become the number one in ASEAN.”

NEPCON Vietnam will be organised on September 17-19, 2015 in Hanoi
