Indochina Bank opens new Luang Prabang service unit

Indochina Bank announced last Friday the opening of its new service unit in Luang Prabang province.

The new unit is located in Pongkham village, Luang Prabang district and will provide customers in and around the Luang Prabang area with superior banking services.

“Indochina Bank is a progressive commercial bank committed to serving the financial needs of the community, helping customers, and making a real difference in the communities we serve,” said the Managing Director of Indochina Bank Mr Tay Hong Heng.

The opening of the Luang Prabang service unit is yet another milestone in Indochina Bank's growth strategy. The bank is looking forward to introducing the quality of its banking service to the customers in the region.

“Today we are pleased to be able to serve customers in this part of the country and we promise to expand our banking service to more places in the future. We are truly excited about building business and personal relationships in Luang Prabang and its neighbouring towns with our specially trained staff,” said Mr Tay.

Along with an experienced team of bankers, the new service unit is housed in a traditional Lao architecture building and features a state of the art banking lounge, an ATM and a VIP Premier Lounge.

Indochina Bank provides a comprehensive range of services that includes savings, current and fixed deposit accounts.

Under the concept of ‘Extreme Banking' customers enjoy the highest interest rates, up to eight percent for a 24 months US$ Fixed Deposit (inclusive of Customer Loyalty Programme), the lowest service fees and lowest service charges, down as low as zero (0) or free, and free Personal Accident Insurance protection that comes with a savings account.

Indochina Bank headquarters are in Vientiane and it has two branches—in Pakxe, Champassak province and in Savannakhet province. It also has seven service units, including the newly opened facility in Luang Prabang province.

The bank plans to open another service unit in Xieng Khuang province on December 12, a bank official said.
