Midea spins new line of washing machines

The international home appliances manufacturer Midea Group is launching two new series of washing machine and water heaters for the Vietnamese market this month.

Marine series, the new generation of Midea’s washing machine, show key developments against the manufacturer’s first version. For example, the all-new Water Magic Cube pulsator in the bottom of the drum reduces tangling by as much as 51 per cent compared to the conventional configuration, and water flows can increase cleanliness in clothing by up to 27 per cent. The One Touch Wash feature allows users to drop the clothing into the machine and start everything with just one button. The Marine series claim a heavy tolerance for unstable power supplies that are common in some developing and emerging markets like Vietnam.

Meanwhile, the VA series – Midea’s new generation of water heaters – showcase key features such as the HeatMore inlet design with which users will enjoy 20 per cent more hot water, and anti-bacterial materials within the tank to ensure the quality of all incoming water, making the hot water safer for everyone.

“Vietnam is certainly a jewel in the ASEAN region, with large and positive growth,” said Arthur Huang, vice president of Marketing at Midea International Enterprise.

“We will continue to focus on increasing our retail presence and our line here, and leverage our global resources in the design, manufacturing and logistics sectors. We will combine this with our commitment to after sales support, and providing our Vietnamese customers with effective, stylish and convenient appliances,” he added.
