Vietnam Airlines to add 1,200 flights during Tet

 Vietnam Airlines has announced it will add 1,200 flights on domestic and international routes in the peak season on Tet holiday from January 28 to March 18 next year, the Saigon Times Daily reported.

According to Vietnam Airlines, the HCM City-Hanoi service would have 260 more flights, while the HCM City-Da Nang route would add 340 flights.

The national flag carrier will also increase flights on other local routes from HCM City to Vinh, Hai Phong, Pleiku, Buon Ma Thuot, Quy Nhon, Cam Ranh, Hue, Thanh Hoa and Phu Quoc, and from Ha Noi to Cam Ranh, Da Nang, Phu Quoc and Vinh.

Some 36 flights will also be added on international routes connecting Viet Nam and Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taichung, Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong, among others.
