Viet Nam attends Craft Fair MERCOSUR 2014

Viet Nam has brought its traditional handicraft products to Craft Fair MERCOSUR 2014, which aims to provide insights on the land and people of Viet Nam.

The fair took place in Puerto Iguazu City, Misiones District in Argentina from October 8 to 13. It is the fourth of its kind which Misiones's Craft Fund has organised and is considered as one of the most important fairs in Argentina.

This year, the fair drew the participation of more than 100 booths from Brazil, Paraguay and a number of Argentinean localities. Through products such as lacquer, silk, brocade and horn and wooden items showcased at the event, visitors also learned more about Viet Nam.

This contributed to the promotion of co-operation between Quang Ninh Province and Misiones, home to new natural world wonders such as Ha Long Bay and Iguazu Fall, Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Nguyen Dinh Thao said.
