Foodpanda and Pizza Hut form exclusive partnership in Vietnam

Foodpanda Vietnam, the world’s largest online food delivery marketplace, and Pizza Hut, the world’s largest pizza restaurant chain, just announced their strategic partnership in Vietnam.

These two mega brands in the food service market will join hands in an exclusive partnership to diversify services and further expand their businesses in the Vietnamese market.

The partnership will allow food lovers across Vietnam to place direct orders via pizzahut.foodpanda.vn or foodpanda mobile application which is available in the App store, Google Play store or the Nokia/Windows store with just a few simple clicks anytime, anywhere.

Co-founder and managing director of foodpanda Vietnam Tauriq Brown said “foodpanda is committed to bringing world-class customer experience to Vietnam that’s complemented with great culinary variety via simple and easy food ordering methods. This partnership with Pizza Hut will help us do just that and even further improve the user’s experience with a wider range of food choices.”

“We are pleased to have formed this strategic partnership with foodpanda. With the great success that both brands have achieved globally, we strongly believe this cooperation is a natural and obvious step to further strengthen our position in Vietnam,” shared Pizza Hut Vietnam CEO Archibald Keswick.

In addition to Pizza Hut, foodpanda Vietnam also enjoys exclusive partnerships with other major international brands such as KFC and Jollibee.

Launched in Vietnam in mid-2012 and currently operational in Vietnam’s major cities (Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Danang, Can Tho and Nha Trang), foodpanda has emerged as Vietnam’s largest food ordering service.

Besides the latest partnership with Pizza Hut, foodpanda is working with about 1,000 restaurants to offer a vast variety of most popular cuisines in Vietnam at the exact same prices listed by the restaurants.

The foodpanda service is free and available via mobile phone & desktop application, online desktop application, desktop Livechat and toll-free number (18006048).

Pizza Hut is among the earliest international casual dine-in chains to set foot in Vietnam with its first restaurant opening in 2007.

Pizza Hut has since established presence in eight cities with 36 dine-in and take-away restaurants, six Pizza Hut Delivery stores and a lot more coming soon.
