Management training to help develop business operations

A group of business entrepreneurs and government administrators will improve their knowledge of business management, aiming to develop their organisations and companies to be leaders in their fields.

The Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI), in cooperation with Overseas Human Resources and Industry (HIDA/AQT), is organising a three-day management training course from March 3-6 in Vientiane.

Trainees participating in the course will be able to help their fellow employees develop their own organisations to boost business management.

Through the course, participants will gain experience on business management from Japanese experts and Lao managers who have completed long and short term courses in Japan. LNCCI Secretary General, Mr Khanthavong Dalavong hoped that after the course, Lao business operators will improve their knowledge on organisational management and human resource development.

He said this education will provide them with good experiences to bring back to their regular work and hoped it would be of benefit to Lao businesses looking forward.

This management curriculum is developed and copyrighted by the Japan Industry Training Association (JITA).

Only partnerships can launch this management training programme curriculum, which has been improved and utilised by famous Japan administrators with good success.

HIDA/AOTS also provided funds for short term training in Japan for business sector managers that are members of the LNCCI.

The study visits are designed to improve the knowledge of business people in relation to the management of their employees, improving the quality of products and ensuring health and safety in the workplace.
