Located near the main gateway into the city centre, the McDonald's Da Kao is at 2-6 Bis Dien Bien Phu Street in District 1.

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday, Nguyen Bao Hoang, founder of Good Day Hospitality, McDonald's developmental licensee for Viet Nam, said the restaurant would offer 24-hour dining and drive-thru service.

With a total floor area of more than 1,300 sq.m on property of 3,000 sq.m, the restaurant has two floors with a total of 350 seats.

Although the menu includes the well-known Big Mac burger and french fries, the company will also offer a McPork line of burgers created to cater to Vietnamese tastes.
