Firms honoured for high-quality products

More than 660 companies have been chosen for their outstanding products following a three-month poll conducted by the Business Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods.

The poll was based on the results of a survey conducted across 16,000 households and individuals in 12 cities and provinces nationwide.

In addition, the association delivered 3,000 questionnaires to retailers at markets, supermarkets and outlets.

It also marks the first time that businesses operating in the fresh flowers and vegetables industry have participated in the event.

The winners include several companies involved in the agricultural sector, as well as in the manufacturing of traditional village products.

Van Minh Thang, head of the poll's organising board, at a meeting with the winners on January 6, said the firms selected will not be required to pay any fee. For official recognition, they only need to send documents to show proof of their operations to the organising committee.

He added that the board will also partner with the departments and the branches of localities where the headquarters of businesses are located to ensure the transparency of information.
