Domestice firms attend int'l craft fair in Italy

More than 50 Vietnamese businesses are attending the 18th International Crafts Selling Exhibition in Milan.

At the exhibition, there are more than 50 stands displaying Vietnamese crafts, marking Viet Nam Year in Italy and the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The Viet Nam Embassy in Italy, in coordination with Ge.Fi. Group and Lombardy authorities, arranged for the Vietnamese businesses' participation in the fair, wrapping up "Viet Nam Days in Milan", which lasted nearly 3 months and included 16 events.

At the opening ceremony for the Viet Nam craft product space on November 30, Ambassador Nguyen Hoang Long said the participation of businesses at the event presented the image of Viet Nam as a country that is friendly, open and renowned for handicraft products that have been exported to 163 countries.

The space will remain open until December 8.
