Vinamilk launches new NZ milkproduct

Vinamilk has launched its new Twin Cows fresh milk brand in the local market.

The milk, produced in New Zealand, is being sold under the company's international co-operation programme that seeks to expanding supply sources to meet local milk demand.

While milk consumption by Vietnamese people has increased sharply over the last several years, domestic production of raw milk meets just 30 per cent of the demand.

In 2010, Vinamilk invested in the Miraka milk processing factory in New Zealand.

This investment has helped Vinamilk to source high quality milk raw from New Zealand and be proactive in stabilising its raw material supply. The new product is priced at VND35,000 per litre carton (without sugar).
