Vingroup to officially enter retail market

Vingroup has officially announced the development of its Vin Kids Center (VinKC) system in major cities across the country.

This will be Vietnam’s largest chain of international-standard shopping centers, educational consultancies and health care services, exclusively dedicated to children 15 years old and under. The first VinKC will be opened at the launch of the Vincom Mega Mall Times City at 458 Minh Khai Street, Hanoi, on December 24th.

It has been 10 years since Vingroup began offering retail spaces in Vietnam. The launch of VinKC will be a great start in the Group’s strategy.

The first VinKC will be developed at Times City urban complex, covering over 9,000sqm. It will gather numerous global and local brands, offer diverse services, from shopping to healthcare, skills’ training and development for children.

Vingroup’s management has let it be known that VinKC will open a vast shopping complex with a variety of products and services for families, children and teenagers. Some of the highlights include a Toy World, a Candy House and a Fashion area. Besides, the Fresh food supermarket will be an ideal destination to choose nutritious and healthy food for the whole family.

VinKC also offers a Bookstore called “Intelligent nourishment”, selling thousands of books and high quality stationery. The children’s Interior World; Gifts and Souvenirs Area and the Mom and Baby Care Area, will all carry top brands both global and local.

Vinschool educational consultancy is developed professionally with classes for gifted kids and skills and intelligence development training. Also, Vinmec Clinic has a team of professional and experienced doctors who can provide helpful information for family and children's healthcare.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vingroup’s Vice Chairwoman cum General Director, said, " Vingroup has decided to develop VinKC, an international-standard model of shopping centers, healthcare services and education for children. VinKC brings together “all-in-one” activities for children, from the time they are babies until they grow up.

We plan to launch the first VinKC at Vincom Mega Mall Times City, then Vincom Center B in Ho Chi Minh City. Thereafter, this model will be replicated in major cities across the country such as Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Can Tho, Quang Ninh, and Hai Phong. Local families and children will finally have the opportunity to access high-quality products and services with decent educational value.”
