South Korea promotes its MICE attractions

The Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) in Viet Nam held a road show last week as part of its efforts to promote the northeast Asian country as a destination for MICE (Meetings, incentives, conferencing, and exhibitions).

We want to introduce an absolutely different image of Korea, a favourite global MICE destination, Kang Sungghil, chief representative of KTO, said.

MICE groups of at least 10 people staying in Korea for two nights and more will receive a souvenir, or airport pick-up, or tickets to relic areas or art performance worth 15,000 won per person.

Besides, tourism authorities of Seoul, Gyeonggi, Daegu, Busan, Gangwon, and Jeju have offers of their own for MICE tourists.
