Largest ever furniture showroom opens in Vientiane

An 18,000 square metre furniture showroom officially opened yesterday to showcase the first eco-friendly furniture range in Laos, which goes by the brand name of i-Furniture.

i-Furniture aims to provide the public with new options in terms of furnishings, which use eco-friendly materials and are good for people's health and the environment.

Managing Director of i-Furniture, Mr Seung Choi said i-Furniture thoroughly considers three elements of every product because the quality of customers' living is ever more valuable than anything else.

i-Furniture puts all its capability towards becoming an eco leader, design leader and quality Leader, he said.

“While offering our furniture at affordable prices, we have eco-friendly products that consider not only our customers' health but also the global environment, with designs that makes spaces beautiful and convenient,” he said.

Finally we employ a management philosophy that we hope will make customers come back for the quality of our furniture and services, Mr Seung Choi added.

The new showroom is located at KM8 along Thadeua road towards the friendship bridge, which is known in local parlance as ‘Lak Paed.'

The Lak Paed showroom offers a new focus to customers on the challenges of meeting global demands for furniture beyond all comparison, he said. “We are sure it will attract many potential customers who used to visit Thailand via the Friendship Bridge to buy furniture, as we are much closer.”

i-Furniture Sole Co., Ltd (i-Furniture), a subsidiary company of the Kolao group, now has the biggest showroom in Laos with total space of 18,000 square metres at Km 8 under the slogan “All about furniture”.

It cooperates with global companies including Livart Furniture, Korea's top general furniture company specialising in furniture for over 30 years, as well as various others from the USA, Japan and the EU.

Mr Seung Choi said that in response to the growing demand for high quality products, even for furniture, due to the rapid economic growth in Laos, the company has prepared a wide range of furniture that will satisfy the desires of discerning customers.

“The price of furniture in Laos was way too high especially compared to neighbouring countries, adding to the burden on household budgets. So we are planning to serve our customers at the lowest price possible without any bubbles in furniture price.,” he explained'

“Furthermore, we, i-furniture, are going to be the first company in Laos that offers a 10-year warranty for its furniture: i-furniture will do the best to make their name mean ‘all about furniture' in their customers' minds,” Mr Seung Choi assured the general public.
