DK Lao becomes sole Mitsubishi forklift dealer in Laos

The DK Lao Trading Sole Company Limited (DK Lao), a privately-owned company, formally unveiled its brand new DKwick Service Centre on Saturday in Vientiane, as the only authorised Mitsubishi Forklift Truck dealer in Laos.

 

Managing Director of United Motor Works (Siam) Public Company Limited, Mr Atsushi Tomita attended the grand opening ceremony along with DK Lao Chief Executive Officer, Mr Sommay Phetchareun, other invited guests, friends and family members.

“We are excited about the prospect of opening our brand new, bigger office where we will c ontinue to provide the best service to our current customers and also unveil our newest services that we are proud to introduce to our customers, business and the c ommunity,” Mr Sommay announced.

The brand new DKwick Service Centre, which operates under the slogan “The Better Service You Can Trust”, aims to be the best service centre in Vientiane and across the country, he stressed.

DK Lao has been in operation since 2010 as DK Parts and Accessories. After two years of constant growth, the need for expansion became evident, Mr Sommay informed the guests.

“That's when DK Lao Trading was born, and also the move to a bigger parcel of land to accommodate our expanding services, which include the new service centre and dealer office.”

He confirmed that DK Lao Trading will continue to supply parts to all customers as the Mitsubishi dealer, and will also provide sales, rental and maintenance services for Mitsubishi forklift trucks.

Meanwhile, Mr Atsushi Tomita said the United Motor Works Public Company Limited is a distributor experiencing rapid growth in Thailand, and has done for several decades.

“Now, we are looking at the Lao market as one of the future markets in the region, so DK Lao is now our trade partner and we can continue to grow together,” he said.

DK Lao Trading Sole Company Limited is located on Kamphengmeuang Road at Unit24, Nonghai village in Hadxaifong district, Vientiane, where interested buyers can view their range of new Mitsubishi forklift trucks.

The DK service centre is staffed by highly qualified mechanics and technicians with prior experience at highly reputed vehicle dealerships in Laos, including all the major vehicle manufacturers.
