Myanmar's marine export earns over 470 mln USD in 9 months

Myanmar's marine export reached 477. 23 million U.S.dollars in the first nine months (April-December) of the fiscal year 2012-13, local media reported Monday.

Of the total export, 281.221 million dollars were fetched from normal trade and 196.007 million dollars from border trade, said the Weekly Eleven News.

The export volume through normal trade reached 129,465 tons, border trade 139,828 tons.

Meanwhile, during the same period, crab export earning reached 30.58 million dollars and figure with Muse border trade point stood at 12.159 million dollars.

Myanmar's border trade activities are mostly through Muse, Myawady, Kawthoung, Sittway, Myeik, Maungtaw and Tamu.
