Rice exports top 7 million tonnes

Viet Nam has exported 7.1 million tonnes of rice at a turnover of nearly US$3.2 billion so far this year, according to the Viet Nam Food Association.

In November, rice exports remained strong to reach 621,616 tonnes.

If the rate is maintained, Viet Nam should achieve its target to export 7.5 to 7.7 million tonnes of rice this year.
