Viet Nam invests billions abroad

Viet Nam has 214 projects worth US$3.45 billion in Laos and 112 projects worth $2.36 billion in Cambodia, according to the Foreign Investment Agency.

But actual disbursement of funds remains low – $691 million in Laos and $763.43 million in Cambodia – it said. Laos tops the list of 60 countries and territories where Viet Nam has investments.
