ST Bank to expand their services nationwide

ST Bank plans to expand their business in Laos, opening four more branches in the provinces, in order to offer their services in other localities as the Lao economy continues to grow.

ST Bank Deputy Managing Director Mr Bounleuam Sisongkhame told Vientiane Times that the Bank has a policy to improve the quality of its customer relations, offering fast and efficient services done with a smile.

As it works to improve the services it offers, ST Bank also wants to expand their branches and service units to all provinces nationwide. They will offer deposit, loan and credit facilities with competitive interest rates, aiming to generate extra business and attract more foreign investors to Laos.

Previously, the bank used to focus more on attracting high net worth individuals and companies, but now they are offering credit services to all kinds of people and businesses, expanding their customer base.

Mr Bounleuam said one out of five customers who open deposit accounts at the bank also make use of its credit facilities, giving them confidence that the future business outlook is good.

The bank now has more than 12 service units in the capital and Vientiane province and branches in Champassak, Luang Prabang, and Savannakhet.

Their expansion plans include opening four new branches in Bokeo, Oudomxay, Xiengkhuang, and Xayaboury, in order to cater to the growing demand coming in the wake of sustained economic growth.

In the future, ST Bank will offer credit facilities to all manner of customers, and open service units in all districts of Vientiane, offering ease and convenience to both borrowers and depositors.

They opened a service unit in Suanmon village recently and will open another in Nongtaeng soon. ST Bank is also rolling out more ATM machines in the capital and the provinces, making withdrawing money more convenient for their customers.

The bank also holds regular promotions to reward loyal account holders and return some of their profits to their customers.

Mr Bounnak from Haysok village in Sisattanak district has been an ST Bank customer for more than two years now. He has deposited more than 500 million kip with them, and was the lucky recipient of the first prize in their latest lucky prize draw.
