VN tells South Korea it welcomes foreign investors

Viet Nam always welcomed foreign businesses to invest in the country in all sectors, while creating favourable conditions for them, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has affirmed.

Hung was speaking at a reception for the visiting Chairman of the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s Kumho Asiana Group, Park Sam Koo, yesterday in Ha Noi.

Hung spoke highly of the results produced by Kumho Asiana-funded projects in Viet Nam, emphasising that the expansion of such projects vividly reflected the practical effectiveness and increasing strength of the Vietnam-RoK strategic partnership.

He also said he hoped the group would continue its effective investment projects in Viet Nam.

For his part, Park Sam Koo said Viet Nam was a promising market and committed to further investment in the country.

He said he hoped Viet Nam would perfect its policies to provide an attractive business environment for investors.

In the future, Kumho Asiana would strengthen co-operation and expand its business in Viet Nam, he said, adding that the group would boost the effectiveness of the operation of its cultural foundation in order to strengthen cultural exchanges and mutual understanding, as well as co-operation between the two countries.
