Quang Ninh's GDP growth rate rises

The GDP growth rate of the northeastern coastal Quang Ninh province in the first six months this year was estimated to be 7.1 per cent, according to the provincial People's Committee.

The province also attracted US$390.9 million of foreign direct investment during the period, a year-on-year increase of 14.8 per cent. Large-d projects include the $43 million Lam Ngoc-Tuan Chau urban residential area, a $47.4 million instant noodle grinding plant, and the $300 million Texhong Fiber Factory
