Incentive to sell disappears

Western and European markets may be unsettled but not so the local Lao Stock Market. The index and stocks remained flatlined for the 5th straight days closing. As opposed to the international markets “W” shape one week and this week “M” shape.

Yesterday was like extracting teeth; it took until the last session before any trades matched and even when they did the numbers fell right away for the 3rd day in a row. With no breakout of prices to the upside there is little incentive to sell hence the volumes fall away as they have done. There's nothing to rock the boat with either stocks share price so let's see if a midweek bounce occurs as it has done for several weeks. Turnover failed to break the US$10,000 mark.
