VN indexes rise again, Asian shares end mixed

The VN-Index continued to grow on July 3, after crossing the milestone of 600 points yesterday, while other Asian indexes closed mixed.

 

Driven by positive psychology, investors kept pouring money into the indices. On the HCM Stock Exchange, the VN-Index added 10.73 points to close at 616.43. The HNX-Index on the Ha Noi Stock Exchange experienced a slight increase with 0.94 point to end at 87.70.

The Nikkei 225 gained 17.29 points to close at 20,539.79 in Japan, and the Straits Time Index increased 14.89 points to end at 3,423.73 in Singapore.

Meanwhile, the Hang Seng Index declined 218.21 to close at 26,064.11 in Hong Kong, and the Shanghai Composite Index lost 225.85 points to end at 3,686.92.
