SCIC Investment to sell all VNM shares

SCIC Investment registered to sell its entire batch of 398,310 shares of the dairy giant Vinamilk (VNM) from July 31 to August 25 this year on the HCM City Stock Exchange.

 

SCIC Investment is a subsidiary of State-owned State Capital Investment Corporation, which is the current largest shareholder of Vinamilk with more than 357.7 million shares or 45.05 per cent of stakes.

According to the HCM City Stock Exchange, SCIC Investment bought the mentioned amount of VNM shares on July 3 when each share of VNM was listed at VND127,000(US$6). The shares was listed at VND136,000 ($6.5) each on July 30.

Viet Nam's biggest dairy producer Vinamilk has the current charter capital of VND8.34 trillion (US$395 million).
