Market soars as VNM ETF announces reviewed investment list

Shares closed higher on both national stocks exchange this morning after the Martket Vectors Vietnam ETF announced its reviewed investment list.

 

On HCM City Exchange, the VN-Index added 0.6 per cent to end at 600.39 points.

More than 98 million shares were changed hands with a total trading value of VND1.78 trilllion ($84.76 million).

With gains from Masan Group (MSN) and PetroVietnam Transportation (PVT) reaching their ceiling prices this morning, the VN30-Index, tracking the southern city's largest shares by capitalisation and liqudity, added 4.21 per cent to finish at 672.6 points.

Among those, 14 codes added while 14 codes lost values.

On Ha Noi Exchange, the HNX-Index gained 1.83 per cent to end at 85.98 points while the HNXFF-Index closed this morning at 86.12 points with a rise of 1.79 per cent.

The HNX30-Index, composed of largest stocks, the HNX30-Index ad?e 2.78 per cent to 174.71 points.

More than 81 million shares were traded with a total value of VND863 billion ($41 million) on this morning trading.
