MyVIB scooped Vietnam's Outstanding Innovative Banking Product/Service Award in 2015

The Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has just been conferred “Vietnam's Outstanding Innovative Banking Product/Service Award” in 2015 for its mobile banking app, MyVIB.

The award, given by the International Data Group (IDG), recognised VIB’s innovation of MyVIB mobile banking app and Apple Watch app. It also demonstrates the bank’s efforts to utilise innovative digital banking technology and realise its vision “To be the most innovative and customer-centric bank of Vietnam”.

The award was offered by IDG after three rounds of assessment: application evaluation, scoring, and intensive selection by reputed specialists based on four criteria, including Strategy, Innovation, Customer Experience and Deliverables.

Understanding customers’ experience and demands for efficient, simple and smart ways of finance management, the bank’s local and international experts have developed MyVIB with outstanding features: user-friendly interface, easy personalisation, speed and many other functions integrated in a single mobile banking app.

By November 2015, MyVIB scored 30,703 downloads and has been rated 4.5+/5 on Apple Store and Google Play Store.

On this occasion, VIB has launched a promotion programme “Get VND500,000 when opening VIB current account online” to encourage customers to use the bank’s outstanding innovative banking products and services.

Accordingly, from now till the end of January 2, 2016, VND500,000 ($23) will be transferred to the first 100 customers who open new current accounts online (via VIB website and e-bank), activate the accounts at VIB counter, install MyVIB app and conduct at least one payment successfully on VIB Internet Banking or MyVIB.
