HCM City: Heat in high-end apartment sales

Some 7,862 apartments from 26 projects in Ho Chi Minh City were sold during the third quarter of 2015, said Head of CBRE Vietnam’s Research and Consulting Department Duong Thuy Dung at a press conference in the city on September 29.

According to CBRE, high-end apartment sales have soared, accounting for 35 percent of the total apartments transacted during the first nine months of this year.

Many long-delayed projects have been revived by changes in capital, design and area from new investors including City Gate Towers (District 8), Linh Tay Tower (Thu Duc district) and C.T. Plaza Nguyen Hong (Go Vap district).

General Director of the Dai Quang Minh Joint Stock Company Tran Ba Duong said the company has sold 321 of 414 high-end apartment units (a 12-storey tower in Sala urban area, District 2) since its opening on May 29.

The real estate firm Sacomreal sold 800 units in Jamona Apartmnet, and 224 units in Carillon.

Meanwhile, the Dat Xanh Group is also offering the second phase of the Luxcity high-end apartment project, selling 200 units since September 27.

Over 2,600 units of the Sunview Town and Him Lam Land Cho Lon projects were successfully transacted in the reviewed period.
