Simuong Group receives international gold award

Simuong Group Co Ltd (SMG) has been awarded an international gold prize, the World Quality Commitment Award, from the Business Initiative Directions (BID) in France.

The award was presented by Mr Jose E. Prieto, Chairman and CEO of BID, and received by SMG President, Mr Ekaphanh Phapithack, on October 25, 2014, in Paris.

The ceremony was attended by company representatives from 180 countries, together with leaders from many business sectors, professionals in the economic, arts and corporate arenas, quality experts, academics, celebrities and diplomatic representatives.

The event was covered by journalists, TV cameras, videographers and photographers, with images appearing in publications and in the broadcast media.

Awards were presented in three general categories: Gold, Platinum and Diamond, according to the criteria of Excellence in Leadership and Business Management, Quality and Excellence, Business and Brand Name Prestige, and Technology, Innovation and Projection.

London, New York, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid and Geneva are all cities that welcome business leaders from all over the world to participate at international conventions where business contacts and opportunities will spread their names in the international business world through the Quality BID Award.

The Simuong Group Co Ltd was established in September 2001. Since its inception, the company has successfully executed many projects, both under government and internationally funded programmes.

Since 2001, the company has transformed itself into the Lao Inter Auto Group, Road-Bridge and Building Construction, Survey Design, Energy and Mining Consultation, Real States, Import-Export Co Ltd and Banking, comprising all previous business branches and becoming the Simuong Group Co Ltd of Laos.
