Seafood firms honoured for positive influence

Viet Nam Fisheries Magazine and the Viet Nam Fisheries Society (VFS) has recognised 101 seafood enterprises for their positive impact on the industry and contributions to social welfare.

The top 10 enterprises and top 10 individuals received certificates of merit from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) at a ceremony held here last Saturday.

Five months after the event was launched, the organising board received 300 prospective competition entries.

The enterprises were honoured for their great contributions to national economic development and social and charitable activities, said Nguyen Viet Thang, VFS president.
