IP developer Becamex to list on HOSE on August 31

Industrial park (IP) developer Becamex IDC Corp has announced its shares will be traded on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange with the code BCM starting from August 31.

 

The reference price of the first trading day was VND28,000 (US$1.2) per share, meaning the company would have a market capitalisation of VND28.98 trillion ($1.25 billion).

BCM stopped trading on unlisted public company market (UPCoM) on August 20. Nearly 23.5 million shares of BCM were listed on UPCom on February 18 at an initial price of VND31,000 each.

BCM closed at VND30,100 per share on the last trading day on UPCoM.

Becamex currently owns 14 industrial parks with a total area of 10,456 hectares, or 11.4 per cent of the total area of such parks in Viet Nam.

The company earned revenue of VND2.48 trillion in the first half of this year with an after-tax profit of VD580 billion.

Becamex hopes to reach a revenue of more than VND6 trillion and an after-tax profit of VND931 billion for the full year.
