Economic outlook for 2020 to be tabled for discussion in HCMC

Vietnam Business Outlook 2020 is scheduled to kick off in HCMC’s District 3 on November 22 to provide the business community with an overview of the local and global markets in 2020.

The Business Management Group, the organizer of the conference, said that Vietnam Business Outlook 2020 will feature a host of Vietnam’s top entrepreneurs and economic experts.

The speakers will discuss issues related to digitalization and introduce tech applications to small and medium enterprises to foster their business operations, alongside providing participating firms with growth trends for the market in 2020.

Many experts predicted that local firms will face multiple challenges and the impact of the China-U.S. trade war next year. In addition to the predicted difficulties, the Vietnamese economy is forecast to present various opportunities for growth.

Speakers at the conference will include Do Hoa, managing director of IME Vietnam; Dang Thuy Ha, director at Client Leadership at Nielsen Vietnam; Tran Viet Huan, vice chairman of CIO Vietnam;  Michael Kokalari, chief economist at VinaCapital; Lam Minh Chanh, chairman of BizUni; Tran Ngoc Anh, chairman of Sales & Marketing Vietnam; and Le Thanh Thuy as a consultant.
