Novaland hires global operator to manage its hotels

Property developer Novaland Group on Thursday signed up global hotel management company Minor Hotels to manage its seven hotels and resorts.

 

Minor owns world-renowned brands such as AVANI, Anantara, Tivoli, Oaks, and Elewana.

Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotel Group, said: “Viet Nam is one of the region’s most dynamic economies with tremendous potential for growth in both domestic and international tourism, thanks to a winning combination of cultural attractions and natural beauty.

“We look forward to expanding our footprint in Viet Nam with Novaland Group and to creating an exceptional product for our guests.”

On the same day Novaland signed an agreement with Greg Norman Golf Course Design Company to build four Greg Norman golf courses in Novaland’s integrated resorts in Can Tho, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Phan Thiet – Binh Thuan at US$100 million.

Along with the country’s tourism growth, Novaland aims to expand into hospitality real estate in major areas with potential for tourism such as Can Tho, HCM City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Phan Thiet, Cam Ranh, and Da Lat.

It plans to tie up with local and international operators to create "ideal destinations" to turn these destinations into tourism - leisure – amusement hubs, helping put Viet Nam on the world tourism map.

This year Novaland has operated the Can Tho Azerai Resort and Anantara Mui Resort.

It has also begun to sell units in its NovaHills Mui Ne Resort & Villas in Phan Thiet.
