Industrial, manufacturing fair kicks off in Binh Duong

The Viet Nam Industrial and Manufacturing Fair (VIMF) 2017 opened in the southern province of Binh Duong on Wednesday, drawing thousands of visitors.

 

The event, which will run till June 9 at the Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Centre, offers firms in the province and its neighbouring localities the opportunity to get access to new machines and equipment, seek partners and expand markets.

The fair has around 250 booths, represented by 15 countries and territories, including Singapore, Japan, South Korea, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, the US, Indonesia, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Australia and, of course, Việt Nam.

On display are the latest tools and equipment used in metalworking, metrology and measurement, 3D printing and software for manufacturing, among other things.

The fair will also see various activities such as symposiums on automation, manufacturing connection, 3D printing and design, in which foreign and Vietnamese experts will participate.
