The Ministry of Planning and Investment and the United States Agency for International Development Linkages for Small and Medium Enterprises officially launched the Supporting Enterprises’ Digital Transformation from 2021 to 2025 programme.

On December 3, the MPI and USAID LinkSME co-organised the launching ceremony for the Supporting Enterprises’ Digital Transformation from 2021 to 2025 programme in Hanoi.

The programme will support enterprises’ digital transformation by raising enterprises’ awareness, digitalizing their business model, their management and through comprehensive digitalisation to develop new products, services, and business models.

Notably, the programme targets to make 100 per cent of enterprises aware of digital transformation and support at least 100,000 enterprises to use a digital transformation readiness evaluation tool and other digital solutions, and at least 100 manufacturing and processing enterprises adopt digital transformation.

Besides, the programme will replicate examples of successful application of digital transformation on a larger scale. A network of at least 100 digital transformation experts and agencies will be established to assist in providing digital consultancy and service enterprises.

The programme contributes to realising Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s No. 749/QD-TTgon the National Digital Transformation Programme by 2025 with orientations toward 2030.

“Technology has created breakthrough changes in our lives. The traditional business models are replaced by modern technologies, creating more effectiveness. Thus, digital transformation is considered the indispensable trend in order to help enterprises to improve their competition capacity,” said Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung.

Numerous associations committed to accompanying with the programme including the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment, VINASA, and many companies committed to providing technology solutions for the programme, namely Facebook, MISA, CMC, Bizfly, and FSI.
