VPBank launches YOLO digital banking app

Viet Nam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) has launched an innovative digital bank for the young generation named “YOLO”.

The app provides customers with a full range of financial services, and integrates other services to cater to other needs such as transportation, travel, entertainment, and restaurant reservations.

YOLO MasterCard, a virtual card, enables global payment.

To register, customers only need to provide their names, phone numbers, and emails.

One of the highlights of the app is the YOLO super saving product which allows customers to manage their expenses and optimise idle money.

In addition to its intelligent technology platform and seamless connection with partners providing goods and services, YOLO also lets customers pay for all kinds of services and bills like electricity, water, phone, airplane tickets, cable TV, and others.

They can set up automatic payment schedules or use the bill-sharing feature. All transactions are encrypted and protected.

At the launch ceremony on Friday, VPBank also signed a strategic co-operation agreement with Vinaphone, owner of Vpoint, a point accumulation system with more than 3,000 stores and millions of members.

Under the agreement, YOLO users can use a Vpoint account to enjoy benefits at all partners’ stores. In return, Vpoint users can enjoy YOLO digital bank’s facilities.

Customers can download YOLO from Google playstore or iOS app store.
