Online Friday 2018 kicks off

Online Friday 2018 started at midnight and lasts for 24 hours on Friday, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

 

This year’s event includes the participation of large brands and retailers such as Lotte, Yes24, Vuivui.com, Jetstar, OPPO, UMA, Sunhouse, Mattana and Anbico.

Nine highlighted shopping categories include beauty, fashion, health, family, travel and technology equipment.

The organisers said there were more high-end products and services with a value of zero Vietnameses dong this shopping season.

It was estimated that there were more than 5,000 products put on the Online Friday system.

Launched in 2014, Online Friday is an annual online shopping event held by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce under the direction of the Vietnamese Government.
