Ramp-up business of TRUMPF Vietnam

TRUMPF has officially announced its new establishment of TRUMPF Vietnam as a subsidiary of TRUMPF Asia Pacific, owned by TRUMPF Gmbh in Germany.

TRUMPF is represented in Vietnam since 2006 and has been expanding its local team and presence continuously. With a new full legal entity in Vietnam, the company has now grown to a team of more than 35, including German general director Patrick Kemnitz.

The mission of TRUMPF Vietnam to support businesses with local sales, spare parts and service requirements with the main purpose to be close to its customers. TRUMPF’s over 20 European-trained engineers are dedicated to install, inspect, maintain and repair machines locally as well as providing extensive trainings for customers operating the TRUMPF high-end technology in their manufacturing plants.

On July 3-6, 2018, TRUMPF will be represented with a booth at the 16th International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition & Conference (MTA Vietnam 2018) at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

TRUMPF will show manufacturing solutions for visitors in leading industries as switchboard Cabinets, Elevators, Steel Furniture, OEM machinery, Food processing, and others.

As a digital pioneer in smart manufacturing and a strong commitment to innovation and digitalisation, TRUMPF has ventured into the forefront of virtual reality and for the first time in Asia, TRUMPF will premiere an all new, exclusive experience by integrating innovative Virtual Reality technology to their booth.

Customers can experience how sample parts are being produced and also to get up close and personal with TRUMPF machines for 3D metal printing and laser marking.

TRUMPF is a family-run company that has been constructing machines since 1923, making it a reliable expert in its industry. With constant innovations, TRUMPF strives to provide its customers with the best solutions for cost-effective, reliable manufacture of products of a high quality.

The company became market and technology leader in fabricating machinery and industrial lasers for flexible sheet metal processing and the products manufactured with the company's technology can be found in almost every sector of industry.

Machine tools and laser systems for flexible sheet and tube processing make up TRUMPFs core business. The broad portfolio consists of systems for bending, punching, 2D and 3D cutting and welding applications, as well as laser marking. TRUMPF also provides solutions for additive manufacturing such as laser metal deposition and 3D printing.

During 2016-2017, TRUMPF, which has about 12,000 employees, achieved sales of EUR3.11 billion ($3.6 billion). With over 70 subsidiaries, it is represented in nearly all the countries of Europe, North and South America, and Asia. It has production facilities in Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, the US, Mexico, China and Japan.
