Petrolimex Aviation to supply fuel to all airports

Petrolimex Aviation Fuel Joint Stock Company (Petrolimex Aviation) will supply fuel to all 26 airports in Viet Nam, according to the next five-year development plan.

Petrolimex Aviation currently accounts for 30 per cent of the aviation fuel’s market share with a nationwide distribution system, providing Jet A-1 fuel to more than 30 major airlines in the world, including Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Etihad Airways and Air France.

The company also supplies a large volume of fuel to many customers, including VietJet Air, Southern Helicopter Company, Northern Helicopter Company and Hai Au Aviation.

During its development plan, the company will prioritise supplying the Jet A-1 fuel, especially when the Nghi Son oil refinery comes into operation.

Meanwhile, the company will strengthen linkage with foreign partners in continuing to provide services to its customers at international airports.

Over the years, Petrolimex Aviation has established its fuel supply network at 45 airports in Asia, such as China, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar, Japan, Cambodia and India, via foreign partners.

Petrolimex Aviation was established in 2008 with an initial charter capital of VND150 billion (US$6.6 million) from Viet Nam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), Military Petrochemical Joint Stock Company and Petrolimex Group Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
