Work begins on OneHub Sai Gon’s 1st tower

Construction of the first office tower began at the OneHub Sai Gon - HCM City’s business park in the Sai Gon Hi-Tech Park on Tuesday by Singapore-based Ascendas-Singbridge and its partner, Sai Gon Bund Capital Partners.

With a gross floor area of approximately 12,000sq.m over six floors, Tower 1 is expected to open in the first quarter of next year.

Developed with consultancy by Australia’s PTW Architects, CPG Consultants (Civil, Structural and MEP), Colin K. Okashimo and Associates (Landscaping), G-Energy Global (Sustainable), and built by main contractor, Coteccons, Tower 1 will be an LEED (leadership in Energy and Environment Design) certified building.

The 12-hectare OneHub Sai Gon will have seven office towers, a mixed-use commercial block, work-offices, home-offices, an education centre and recreational amenities.

It will also have designated event spaces and social areas for networking and relaxation.

Together with existing corporations such as Samsung, Intel, Schneider, Sanofi and others within the park, OneHub Sai Gon is expected to play a major role in supporting the business eco-system.
