Reference exchange rate goes down by 6 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam slashed its reference VND/USD exchange rate by 6 VND to 22,082 VND/USD on the morning of December 27.

 

With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is 23,082 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,746 VND per USD.

Major commercial banks kept their rates stable.

Vietcombank and Vietinbank offered the same rates with 22,675 VND (buying) and 22,745 VND (selling), per USD, unchanged from the day earlier.

BIDV, meanwhile, posted 22,680 VND (buying), and 22,750 VND (selling), per USD, unchanged from the day ago.
