Vinfast announces winning Sedan and SUV designs

Vinfast has announced two of the most popular Sedan and SUV automobile designs of the 20 designs offered to vote, both designs, namely Sedan 02 and SUV 02, were created by automobile design studio Ital Design, according to newswire Vnexpress.

Accordingly, after a 14-day vote on October 2-16, 62,000 people joined the vote, 22,396 of whom voted for Sedan 02 and 13,833 voting for SUV 02, equivalent to 36.2 and 22.4 per cent of the total votes, respectively.

These two cars have strong, luxurious, and dynamic design. In particular, with the introduction of the V-shaped stylised icon—the first letter in both Vietnam and Vingroup’s names on the logo—the two models have masterfully catered to national pride and scored the most points from Vietnamese consumers.

Pham Minh Ly from Hanoi, who had the most accurate selection in the shortest time and predicted correctly the ratings for the two models, overcame 62,000 participants to win the first prize of VND500 million.

In addition, VinFast also determined the winners of the other valuable awards, including two vouchers worth VND50 million each, 30 vouchers worth VND10 million, and 100 VinID gift cards worth VND2 million. The vouchers and VinID cards can be used to purchase Vingroup’s products and services, including real estate, vacation, retail, healthcare, education, and agriculture.

“The results of the vote will be an important reference point for Vinfast in deciding production samples, ensuring that Vinfast automobiles are beautiful, modern, and measure up to world standards, along with matching the taste and demands of the Vietnamese market,” said Nguyen Viet Quang, Vingroup deputy chairman.

According to experts, once the automobiles are launched, Vinfast will not waste time to approach customers because they have already contributed to the creation of the automobiles themselves.

Automobiles of the Vinfast brand are expected to officially debute in September 2019.
