Petrol prices increased to VND17,486 per litre

The domestic retail price of RON 92 petroleum increased by VND461 to trade at a maximum of VND17,486 (77 US cents) per litre, as of 3pm on Saturday.

 

The increase was effected according to the latest decision of the ministries of industry and trade and finance.

The price of E5 bio-fuel also rose by VND431 to a maximum of VND17,254 per litre. The prices of diesel and kerosene remained unchanged, standing at VND13,795 and VND12,398, respectively. Meanwhile, the maximum price of mazut was VND11,105 per kilo, an increase of VND8.

The MoIT and the Ministry of Finance also decided to keep using the price stabilisation fund for RON92 petrol at VND110 per litre. The use of the fund for E5 biofuel remained at VND90 per litre.

Meanwhile, the use of the fund for diesel was VND27 per litre and, for kerosene it was VND185 per litre.

In the latest adjustment on August 4, domestic retail prices of RON 92 petrol and bio-fuel E5 rose by VND599 and VND572 per litre to VND17,025 and VND16,823, respectively.
