Government collects $915M in taxes in first semester

The government collected $915 million in tax revenue during the first six months of the year, according to figures released yesterday by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

This represents a 3 percent increase from the previous year, and amounts to 52 percent of the national budget for 2017, it said.
