Imported DAP fetiliser products under investigation

The Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No.1682A/QĐ-BCT on safeguard measures against DAP fetiliser products imported into Viet Nam on May 12.

The decision was issued after the Viet Nam Competition Authority under the ministry received a request from Company Limited DAP - Vinachem and DAP No. 2 -Vinachem Joint Stock Company to apply global safeguard measures on the products, alleging that the increase of imported goods has damaged the domestic industry.

The authority said that organisations and individuals can access public information about the case by submitting applications for registration as related parties to the investigation agency by June 14 at the latest.

The agency recommended that all organisations and individuals that import, distribute, trade and use the goods under investigation register as related parties to ensure their views are heard.
