CONTECH Vietnam 2017 showcasesthe latest construction technologies

The 2017 Vietnam International Trade Fair for Construction-Machinery, Equipment, Technology, Vehicles and Materials (CONTECH 2017) is going to showcase the latest technologies in the field of construction and mining.

The event, to be held from April 25 to 27 at the National Exhibition Construction Centre (NECC) at 1 Do Duc Duc Street, Nam Tu Liem District in Hanoi, expects to welcome 200 exhibitors from Germany, the EU, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, China, and Vietnam to showcase their products and solutions to about 10,000 visitors.

In the past few years, construction has been among the sectors in Vietnam producing the highest growth at a rate of about 15 per cent a year. Fast urbanisation, the growing demand for real estate, and the positive outlook on foreign direct investment are expected to drive growth in the construction of residential, industrial, infrastructure, office, and resort projects.

With this growth, Vietnam is the most attractive construction equipment market in Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, Vietnamese companies are not yet able to produce construction machinery that can meet the demand in terms of quantity, diversity, technical specifications, and quality.

In this context, the event will be a place for companies to promote themselves and find business partners.

In the framework of the event, there will be three conferences covering technology in construction, building materials, and the mining industry. The Conference on Application of Advanced Technology in Construction and Transportation Infrastructure will cover current and critical issues and developments in the infrastructure master plan. Presentations during the conference will focus on key infrastructure sectors: construction and building, transportation and logistics, and energy and power generation.

The Seminar on Building Materials – Technology and Environmentally-Friendly Products aims to create a link between businesses, developing environmentally-friendly building material products for the local and export markets. Speeches and presentations will focus on requirements for innovation of building materials production in the new stage of integration, with the development trends of green building, climate change adaptation, and sustainable development.

The Conference on Mining Industry will be a platform where experts and companies from the mining industry can present scientific reports, feature new products, and share new technologies for more effective and sustainable mining operations.
