GoBear Vietnam crosses 100,000 users mark one month after launch

GoBear Vietnam crowded in over 100,000 users for its services just within one month following launch in Vietnam.

GoBear has hit a homerun of 110,000 users with nearly 150,000 comparisons made on its webpage (www.gobear.com/vn). For the GoBear Vietnam team, this is a remarkable performance at this very early stage of GoBear's venture in Vietnam.

Since it official went live back in early December 2016, GoBear has now become one of the household names among searching and comparing service providers for financial products in Vietnam. In pursuit of its mission to provide users a free search and compare tool for often complicated financial products such as credit cards and loans, to date, GoBear has attracted an accumulated over five million users from all of its active markets - Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam.

GoBear Vietnam promises users a free, personalised, diverse and more importantly, easy and unbiased service. The information supplied by GoBear in the core search results are completely uninfluenced by advertisements, as GoBear does not sell out any user’s information.

Seeing that the financial markets in Vietnam still seem highly confusing for consumers, and organised in a very traditional way GoBear CEO Andre Hesselink made a decision to introduce the customer friendely online GoBear model to Vietnam in the hope to offer Vietnamese people a world class service in their search for the best financial products.

Tran Nhat Khanh, country director of GoBear Vietnam, underscores what makes GoBear stand out from the pack, which are the benefits it can offer users in Vietnam: “Historically, any time we want to buy something, we would often rely on external advice or recommendations from friends. But for such products as credit cards and personal loans, catering for personal needs is of paramount importance. That’s why GoBear wants to promote the habit of comparing and search around for information to help consumers to be able to independently select the products that best fit their needs.”

The fact that some 110,000 users chose GoBear within a month of its launch in Vietnam can be seen as proof for the undeniable demand from consumers that GoBear and its strategic partners are working towards serving. In Asia as a whole, GoBear is one of the fastest growing financial technology startups providing free financial comparison services, and is leading the way in democratising financial shopping experience with its unbiased and personalised tool.
