BAC A BANK hit two prominent awards

Today, locally-owned BAC A BANK has reaped two high-profile windfalls, namely the “Bank with typical innovative products 2016” and the “Bank for the community” awards, within the Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards 2016.

BAC A’s “Saving for old people” product has hit the “Bank with typical innovative products 2016”. This time-deposit product is designed specially with a preferential policy and a special customer care programme for customers of 50 years old upward.

After two-year implementation, this product has attracted a great number of customers, with a 35 per cent growth rate in individual customers, and a 1,000 per cent growth rate in deposits. The ratio of old people’s deposits to the bank’s total deposits has occupied 49 per cent. This has helped BAC A ensure its capital stabilisation target.

This product has stood out among many other deposit-oriented products, which are often given interest priorities. It has also proved to be more competitive than similar products offered by other banks.

Along with the “Bank with typical innovative products 2016” award, for the second consecutive year, BAC A BANK has also raked in the “Bank for the community” award thanks to its incessant efforts in deploying community-oriented activities and providing consultancy for hi-tech agricultural projects.

At the awarding ceremony, BACK A’s deputy general director Nguyen Viet Hanh said that “These prestigious awards have reflected the Vietnamese financial-banking community’s recognition of BAC A BANK after its 22 years of successful development, especially in the context that BAC A is flourishing as a high-status one in Vietnam.”

Over the past 22 years, BAC A BANK has been pursuing sustainable development with a special focus laid on benefiting communities.

“We are committed to bringing high-quality products to our clients, and contributing to improving their life, while continuing to provide high-quality consultancy for hi-tech agricultural projects, which will create clean products in favour of people and offer community-oriented activities,” Hanh said.

Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards 2016 is an annual award organised in parallel with the Vietnam Retail Banking Forum under the auspices of Vietnam Bank Association. Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards 2016’s panel includes representatives from government agencies, ministries, associations and experts.

Participants in Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards 2016 include state-owned commercial banks, joint stock commercial banks, banks with 100 per cent of foreign investment, and joint venture banks, as well as foreign banks’ branches in Vietnam.
